About Remnant Fieldworks

Remnant Fieldworks is a proof-first governance and stewardship house focused on high-impact systems—where automation, digital assets, AI-driven decisions, and capital execution carry irreversible consequences.

We design governance architecture for environments in which:

• Authority must be explicit
• Escalation must be documented
• Execution must be reconstructible
• Capital posture must be defensible

Our doctrine is simple:

No action is complete without proof.

The Founder

Remnant Fieldworks was founded by Derek Hone.

Derek brings over 20 years of experience operating inside high-accountability institutional environments, including public education leadership, cross-cultural team management, and regulated-sector engagement.

His background includes:

• 20+ years in public education (grades 9–12)
• 18 years at Beechcroft High School in Columbus City Schools
• Multi-year head coaching experience in high-pressure, performance-driven environments
• National and local Coach of the Year and sportsmanship recognition
• BA in Broadcasting
• MS in Education

In these environments, authority, escalation, documentation, and human accountability were not abstract principles—they were daily operational requirements.

Remnant Fieldworks extends that lived governance discipline into modern high-impact systems.

Why This Work Exists

Modern systems introduce new classes of institutional risk:

• Digital assets settle irreversibly
• AI systems execute autonomously
• Software operates at machine speed
• Capital shifts faster than oversight structures evolve

Most institutional failures do not result from malicious intent or lack of intelligence.

They occur because organizations cannot prove:

• Who authorized the action
• What policy governed it
• How it executed
• Whether it can be reconstructed

Remnant Fieldworks designs the missing layer between execution and defensibility.

The Proof-First Canon

The Proof-First Canon is a structured body of governance standards for high-impact systems, including:

• Authority and execution discipline
• Capital posture governance under systemic stress
• Board-ready AI oversight
• Hold / rollback / replay survivability primitives

This canon informs:

• Authorization Integrity Architecture™
• Remnant Capital Governance Architecture™
• Governance Verification Harness™ methodology

The Canon is not commentary.
It is architectural.

What Remnant Fieldworks Is

• A governance architecture firm
• A capital posture discipline framework owner
• A verification-first systems methodology house
• A long-horizon innovation stewardship platform

What Remnant Fieldworks Is Not

• Not a hype vehicle
• Not a trend-driven consultancy
• Not a compliance outsourcing firm
• Not trading or financial advice

We do not build production systems.

We design governance infrastructure that makes production systems defensible.

Structured. Durable. Accountable.

Doctrine: Proof Before Power.
